A 3 Axis milling machine can only cut your model from one direction. It cannot therefore machine undercuts or the bottom face of your model. However a full 3D model can be cut in two sections - the front or top half and then the back or bottom half.
This page selects which direction you wish to cut the model from. If you have modelled a character standing upright, you will probably want to machine it lying down horizontally. Simply select the front of the model as the direction you wish to machine from and ArtCAM MillWizard will align the model so that the 'front' of the model is horizontal and facing up in the direction of the tool ready for cutting.
You can also rotate the model by 90 degrees to align it with the X or Y axis on the machine.
