Once the toolpaths have been calculated we come to one of the most powerful parts of ArtCAM MillWizard - the toolpath simulation. Using this feature you can see exactly what your finished model will look like after machining with your choice of tool and strategy. This feature can save you from wasting large amounts of time and material when models are machined with an unsuitable tool or strategy.Tools which are too large will not be able to machine fine detail on your model. Choosing an excessively small tool will lead to machining times which may be much longer than necesary. By using ArtCAM MillWizards simulation mode you can make an optimum choice of tool and strategy, confident in the knowledge that what you see on the screen will be an accurate representation of the machined result.
